Join the PTA and support IGNITE

PTA membership: Your membership fee helps support the PTA’s purpose to serve the parents/students and staff. It includes the A-Z Directory App.

This year, the Central PTA will continue to offer the online directory through AtoZ. To sign up for AtoZ, you must click the link on the email you received from centrales@atozconnect.com. If you did not receive an email, please contact the Directory Chair at directory@centralschoolpta.org.

iGNITE: The Central School PTA funds enrichment programs with our iGNITE contributions and PTA Membership dues. The PTA Enrichment Coordinators work closely with the grade level teachers to develop a list of programs that directly enhance the curriculum and classroom experience for our kids. Experiences funded by iGNITE are an integral part of educating the whole child and your contributions go right back to your children.

Please note: we are not asking for 2020/2021 contributions at this time. We will provide an update as we learn more about what will be possible and meaningful through enrichment this school year.

Last year, the PTA’s suggested donation amount was $125 per student to fully offset program costs, however any contribution was welcomed and appreciated.  All donations are tax deductible. Thank you for helping to bring these wonderful programs to our school!

We are excited to have completed Phase #1 of the plan this summer with an entirely new Kindergarten Playground! Thank you to our fundraising team and all of the volunteers and families that made this possible. Please take a look at the new Kindergarten Playground HERE.

Contributions to Pathway to Play will be used exclusively for the new Central School Playgrounds.

New Families

Welcome New Families!

The Central Newcomers Committee is here to help you become part of our school community and answer any questions or concerns you may have about Central or Wilmette.  Our goal is to provide a smooth transition for new families.  We’re also available for tours or to meet over coffee.

To schedule a tour of the school, a formal Tour Request Google Form is to be submitted as per District 39. http://www.wilmette39.org/

Here is a collection of links that we think will be especially useful to new families to Central.

We look forward to meeting you!

Teacher/Staff Gifts

In an attempt to streamline and make things easier for all, we will no longer be asking Room Parents to collect teacher/staff gift donations.  Instead you may contribute to the holiday/end-of-year teacher/staff gift fund when you purchase your PTA membership through the AtoZ email.
